The app is beautiful and so wonderfully designed, but its missing a swipe back on pictures and gifs and more importantly is missing a way for you to see what you have already clicked on and read.

Sure, its missing a few features from some of the more mature Reddit apps, and there are some kinks being worked out. This is to be expected when an app does something in a new, and better, way. It deserves five stars because of the effort the developers are putting in. Having used the app for a while, I have seen the progress, and the app is constantly improving. The app is beautiful. The developers are taking advantage of many of the latest technologies which makes for a great experience. Its the one Reddit app that feels like the designers have put a lot of thought into how everything looks and works. (And theyre open to suggestions from users, when those suggestions make sense.) Im happy to support the developers and cant wait to see the future of the app.
Probably the best client Ive come across formed is consumption and general use of Reddit
When commenting now I cant see what I am typing. I hope this can be fixed. Thank you.
Elegant Reddit client. My favorite characteristic of it is the use of 3D Touch. Thank you!
I do love this app, but there are bugs that have persisted for the last few releases and theyre pretty annoying. One is that Im frequently asked to log into Reddit even though Ive done this already. Another is continuing instability of the app when swiping out of an article/webpage. Sometimes the app becomes unresponsive and I have to click the home button then reopen the app. Other times the app will just crash. I would also like to see better integration of comments. Its really difficult to navigate longer comment threads without getting confused about where you are.
Ive tried the other popular Reddit apps (Alien Blue, Bacon Reader, etc.) and this is by far and away the best one. Lots of features (night mode is nice) and the interface is easy on the eyes.
I write this review because I care about the app. First the good. The app has a phenomenal layout and UI. I love the use of peek and pop and the gallery view is awesome. But there are some negatives about this app that make it unable to be my primary Reddit app. First, and most critical the app is unstable. Its plagued with random freezes which require restart or complete crashes that push you back to springboard. This is frustrating when watching GIFs or view images that you then have to find again. Ive also noticed a new bug that logs me out of Reddit randomly if the app is index for awhile. Again not consistent but it happens. Next is the lack of the ability to view the r/Friends subreddit or even add users as Friends. I just cant make an app my primary without this feature its too important for keeping up with quality posters in a sea of crap. These issues make the app 3 stars in my view, especially the instability. IPhone 6s Plus latest version of iOS.
I love the app, but the article previews are mostly useless clutter. They usually repeat the the submission title, and the thumbnail on the opposite side as image link thumbnails (in small mode) makes it very hard to scan a list of submissions. Id love an option to hide article previews with the Display Pack.
The UI is second to none, multireddit support works well. Very impressed with the app so far.
This is a great Reddit app! Its much, much more user friendly and fluid than the official Reddit app and visually the best reddit app (compared to all others available).
EDIT 2: Since last update app doesnt crash when closing images (although slow), in fact it doesnt crash at all. EDIT: Ive been using the app for a while now, its guaranteed to crash when viewing or closing large image galleries on iPhone 6 Plus, but it doesnt crash at all on iPhone 5. Also, I cant view a redditor profile by clicking their name. So far its great, crashes sometimes when closing images, would an iPad version and I still dont know how to save a post. Even with all issues, its the best reddit client on iPhone.
App seems pretty nice and responsive but there isnt a way to sort comments. Pretty important feature to be missing out on.
I did not found an option to post
The app is well designed and great for quickly viewing content, especially in picture-heavy subreddits. This is one of the best Reddit clients out there. I continue to be impressed by the developer. Constant updates and improvements have been made to the app since its original release. Most importantly, the devs are definitely listening to the community. Ive reviewed this app 3 times now, and each subsequent review has increased my star count. I cant wait for the iPad release, which Ive heard is in the works.
Most Reddit apps are either ugly with every feature, or pretty with barely any features. This app is on its way to being the best looking and best working. With the new update, a ton of my wishes were granted. Id love the option to disable commenting and edit the tab bar as I dont send messages and would prefer a Frontpage link
Best update ever. If youre considering getting this app do it! You wont regret it. Night mode is perfect and worth the price if youre a daily Reddit user. I just made it my top app and it is now in my first page! Thank you <3 Some features Im still missing but will come soon Im sure: 1. Night mode is too gray, consider making it a darker background? 2. Ability to make default sort comments by "top" instead of "best" 3. Ability to create a new post on a subreddit. 4. NSFW filter options that follow App Store guidelines is a priority Im sure. 5. 3D Touch links in comments. Amazing implementation of 3D Touch in the rest of the app by the way. 6. Ability to collapse comment trees by holding on a child comment. No need for the share sheet to pop up when holding, we can do that by sliding to the right on the comment. (Similar to what narwhal does) 7. Mark visited posts as faded. The font is beautiful in the app. Is it San Francisco? So easy on my eyes! Thank you for the great app. Im sure many of the things I suggested are already being worked on but I want to make my needs and wants clear as a daily user :)
Excellent client, and Ive tried them all. Lots of features And awesome interface.
Id already bought the Display pack. Apparently I have to buy it again. Bs
Beams handling of comments was always a little weird (rather than displaying all comments inline, it would list the first couple and then make you go to a separate screen to view the entire thread). The latest update completely revamps comments and its awesome. Comments are now inline, collapsible and sortable. Excellent! Beams the best iPhone Reddit client by a long shot now and I cant wait for an iPad version, sometime in the future.
