Finally a worthy successor to Alien Blue. Leaps and bounds ahead of the official client.

This is definitely my favorite way to browse when not at my laptop, and the dark mode is really nice at night/all the time. The UI is efficient and streamlined compared to the rest

Ive tried most if not all the Reddit clients available for iOS over the past year. Some have great features, some are well designed, some are stable and bug free. None that I have tried until Beam have been all three at once. Reliable and packed with all the right features, a great UI and pleasing design lead to an over all great experience. A few reasonably priced add-ons will cost you about $4 in total, and are the final capstone of the app. A bit more than most Reddit clients $2 Pro upgrade, but contains more features, and and a lot to an already superior app. I would suggest you try it out, and if you enjoy it all, support the devs work and grab those add ons, for $4 it blows all the other Reddit clients out of the water.

Its nice looking, but Im not a fan of the in-app store. Youll end up spending more on adding features that other apps include for free or less money. Also theres no way to hide subreddits from /All like in other apps. If there was one in-app purchase to unlock everything or if the individual ones didnt exceed $0.99, and one of those included the option to hide subreddits, Id buy.

Liking this better than either of the official apps. This just gets things right. This is the second time Ive written this. Why that occurs I dont know.

The screenshots for this app are insanely misleading. They show off night mode and the image media view but they both require you to purchase them individually! The second tab in the tab bar a the bottom of the app cant even be used while viewing a subreddit without purchasing one of their "packs" for $1.99. Seriously. They disabled the second tab that always sits there constantly unless you pay. So you gotta remember that you can use the 1st, 3rd, and 4th tab but not the 2nd otherwise you get a big "PAY TO UNLOCK" screen shoved in your face. Slimy. 90% of the customization in this app is pay to unlock. :/ The comments section keeps glitching out too and dont even display formatting correctly. And thumbnails dont work for gifs and just display garbage characters.

Really smooth in looks and feel. First Reddit app that seems like it has all the features Ive been wanting. So glad I found this!

My only complaint is that it doesnt handle links to comments very well!

Review by Leftyfl1p is inane. You want a really quality and seamless Reddit experience, dont be such a tightwad and pay a maximum of five dollars. You know how much five dollars buys? 5 McDoubles. A single craft bee. Lets think about that. A single craft beer lasts about 1-30 minutes (depending on if you know how to drink a beer). This app will last you YEARS. 5 McDoubles last you about 10 minutes, and then you feel regret. This app will never make you regret it. In summary, its 5 dollars. If youre looking for a Reddit app other than the default (or your browser on your computer), you should be willing to buy the premium features (if not, subscribe to r/frugal). Its clean, well made, intuitive, and worth downloading. You get what you pay for, and its worth paying for.

This app is beautifully designed, works well, and is the true reddit app ios needs. Each update only keeps getting better.

When Reddit kicked alien blue to the curb and released the new crippled app, I thought Id be using alien blue until it stopped working (which its already starting to). But Beam is even better. Prettier and more elegant, makes better use of space, and way less buggy.

This is the best Reddit app for iOS that I have ever used! Its absolutely beautiful to the point where sometimes I just open it to look at the app. But on top of that, its got a ton of great features (albeit paid features) that are absolutely worth the money. 5 stars all around!

Every update adds more! Perfect and has all the major Reddit app features as well as inline browsing!

This app will hijack your copied/shared links and turn it into a shortened version that goes through their shortened link server. This is not acceptable behavior, and Ill be giving 1 star until this is changed.

Im a light Reddit user and this is absolutely perfect for me. Its clean, easy to read, images and gifs load right there. Its perfect.

Tried a lot of other apps, even paid ones, this is by far the simplest for reddit.

I like this better than the official Reddit app, Alien Blue, Narwhal, and Antenna. Good design and easy to use.
